Nutrition is one of the key contributors to high levels of growth and development. We ensure that every child is provided with a balanced diet on a daily basis with the aid of a professional chef providing freshly cooked meals within our nursery kitchen. All cooking ingredients are purchased weekly from reputable supermarket chains in order to produce a menu that obeys by the government healthy eating guidelines.

Promoting good eating habits

  • Children are all encouraged to eat together during meal times
  • Good table manners are taught by ensuring staff sit and eat with them
  • We encourage the fast transition from baby bottle to beaker and from beaker to cup
  • Children are also taught to transition accordingly from sitting on a high chair to a table chair
  • Self-serving is fostered to build the childs independance
  • All children feed themselves using the provided child-friendly cutlery
  • Children are also guided to scrape the remnants of their meals into the bin
